What is Hope & Grit?

Hope & Grit is a leadership and transformation ecosystem built by Rachael Brown-Kendall and Shaun Kendall. Through consulting, facilitation, coaching, live experiences, and community initiatives, we help individuals and organizations reclaim strength, break invisible burnout patterns, and build lives rooted in resilience, health, and meaningful contribution.

Our Work

Hope & Grit operates as a leadership and transformation ecosystem. Our work spans individual growth, organizational strategy, live experiences, and community initiatives — each designed to cultivate strength, clarity, and meaningful impact.

Consulting

Strategic partnership for leaders and organizations navigating growth, systems design, and meaningful change. We specialize in collaborative problem-solving, cross-sector partnerships, and building support structures that last.

Facilitation

Guided planning sessions, leadership intensives, and experiential workshops for teams ready to reset, realign, and move forward with clarity and courage.

Coaching

Personalized health and identity coaching for individuals ready to rebuild strength, sustainable habits, and embodied resilience.

Events & Experiences

Immersive gatherings and workshops — including Becoming By Design and Reset Week — designed to create space for reflection, recalibration, and intentional growth.

Community Initiatives

Projects like Roaming Cup and Punk Walk & Roll that foster connection, local impact, and collective strength beyond traditional coaching spaces.

Who We Are

Hope & Grit was founded by Shaun Kendall and Rachael Brown-Kendall— partners in life and in the work of recovery, leadership, and building sustainable change.

We don’t claim to have arrived. We believe meaningful change is built daily — with structure, honesty, and support.
