PUNK WALK & ROLL 5K
Year 2 — September 12, 2026
Wright Park, Tacoma, WA
Walk loud. Show up real. Celebrate recovery.
Punk Walk & Roll isn't a 5K that happens to benefit a cause. It's a community act — loud, intentional, and rooted in the belief that recovery deserves to be celebrated, not whispered about.
September is National Recovery Month. This is how Hope & Grit marks it.

Punk Walk & Roll 5K — Year 1 Recap
Punk Walk & Roll 5K – Year 1 Recap
On September 6th, 2025, we gathered at Vassault Park with 37 walkers, gallons of coffee, and a whole lot of heart — and together we raised $1,005 for the Tacoma Recovery Center.
This first event was scrappy and imperfect — and it was exactly what we needed to take the first step toward our bigger vision: making treatment and wraparound recovery supports more accessible here in Tacoma.
September is National Recovery Month, and this event was our way to:
🎶 Raise awareness
💰 Raise some cash
❤️🔥 Rally our community around hope and healing
Thank you to everyone who showed up and walked with us!
