Punk Walk & Roll 5K – Waiver & Release of Liability

By registering for and/or participating in the Punk Walk & Roll 5K ("Event") on September 12, 2026, at Wright Park in Tacoma, WA, I acknowledge and agree to the following:

1. Voluntary Participation
I understand that participation in this Event is voluntary and that I am choosing to take part at my own risk.

2. Assumption of Risk
I am aware that walking, running, or rolling in an outdoor event involves inherent risks, including but not limited to tripping, falling, weather conditions, uneven terrain, contact with other participants, and potential exposure to allergens or illnesses. I voluntarily assume all such risks, known and unknown.

3. Medical Fitness
I affirm that I am physically able to participate in the Event. I am solely responsible for consulting with a medical professional if I have any concerns about my health or ability to participate safely.

4. Release of Liability
In consideration for being permitted to participate, I release and hold harmless the Event organizers, volunteers, sponsors, and partners from any and all claims, demands, damages, or causes of action arising from my participation, including those caused by ordinary negligence.

5. Emergency Medical Care
I authorize Event staff or volunteers to arrange emergency medical treatment for me if necessary and understand that I am responsible for any related costs.

6. Photo & Video Release
I grant permission for the use of my image, likeness, and/or voice in photographs, videos, or other media from the Event for promotional purposes, without compensation.

Agreement
By registering for this event and checking the waiver confirmation box at checkout, I acknowledge that I have read, understood, and agree to all terms of this Waiver & Release of Liability. I understand that this electronic acknowledgment carries the same legal weight as a handwritten signature.

Participants under 18 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian, who agrees to these terms on the participant's behalf.
